Bingo Beats Vol. 2 Mixed by ZED BIAS
The second volume of the popular Bingo Beats compilation CD Series. This time Zed Bias takes to the wheels of steel mixing together some of the biggest basslines and ruffest breakbeats.
This is not your average UK Garage CD, so fans of the traditional Sing-a-long Compilation beware, this is gonna hurt!!! Some great new tracks from the likes of Zinc, Zed and Oris Jay plus the Jammin (DJ Zinc) remix of Sounds of da Future (Menta).
If you liked vol. 1 you'll love vol. 2, Bingo Beats is heavier than ever and is available now!! Track to check - 'Tonka' (DJ Zincs remix of Sounds of da future) and 'Speechless' (Sounds like the Zed Bias mix of BodyGroove!!)

HEARTLESS CREW (HLC) presents CRISP BISCUIT
OK, its finally out. The North London men from
Heartless Crew have finally brought out
their double cd mixe compilation, a week before the
release of their debut single
(Heartless theme aka superglue riddim). The album
itself is more messier than So Solid
*my view only* & seriously sexier than The Streets,
the reason for this is simply put
down to distinctiveness. DJ Fonti is the master mind
behind the decks, alongside
mighty moe & bushkin. This compilation puts together
Garage and DnB, with a bit of
ragga style lyrics and RnB/HipHop artists voice overs.
The tune selection on both CD1&
CD2 is heavyweight, it is the way a compilation should
be, offering all the flavas for all
the ravers! Including tracks from the forthcoming,
Pretty Boys release - Brass Pocket
and Sexy Boy, also original clubland tracks from Menta
and Roy Davis and on CD 2
we've got classics from Shy FX & DJ Hype, alongside
some 3rd deck scratching. This
mix cd should please everyone, if not, well your even
fussier than I can imagine!
ITS AN ALBUM OF THE MONTH!

DJ LUCK & MC NEAT IT'S ALL GOOD REL: 27-05-02
Previous Red Rose Recording duo, DJ Luck & MC Neat are currently signed to Island records and have released their album - It's all good. The album contains the well-known chart topping tracks like Ain't no stoppin us & Piano Loca. The album has MC Neat chatting his lyrics over the album. MC's CKP & Blakey make an appearance on a track entitled Ska Dis, which has got a bit of a dub/ska & ragga vibe to it, which effectively makes this track differentiate itself from the rest of the album. If your used to the sounds of MC Neat then, it might be best if you only listen to this album a few times because of his uninterrupted sequence. His lyrical content is worthy & respectable, however put that alongside a monotony of beats and you get something that is just a tad tedious. The track 'KO', features the familiar sound of the Rocky movie theme and the track 'Original guestlist', is awfully similar to that done by Oxide & Neutrino - 'You're no good for me'. The album on a whole is not really all that, I'm sure that DJ Luck & MC Neat could polish up and recover from this album. They have the ability to do so as seen in their previous compilations, however it is as yet not evident in this album.

Ms.Dynamite A Little Deeper REL: 10-06-02
21-year old North Londoner Naomi McLean, is one of the most talked about female artists of 2002. Previous to releasing her debut solo single 'It takes more' which reached the top 10 in the charts, Ms Dynamite was mainly known for the work she had done featuring on the Social Circles production of 'Boo'. As a mc Dynamite had been classed as the young lady to path the way for other female artists to succeed in a predominately male environment. Despite being made an offer of studying Social Anthropology at university Ms Dynamite has made the right decision and made the microphone work for her. Whether you wish to class her still as a garage mc or just as a singer or even both, it is more than evident that Ms Dynamite as got talent beyond comprehension. The album as a whole is about the grim life of the streets, and also on the other hand the album reminds us what love and self respect can do to over shadow this. For the women the album as a few pointers, ie self confidence, getting rid of those partners who are doing nothing for you. For the males it should inspire you to look a little deeper within yourselfs. For the children it should utter the essential element that is lacking in society today, respect for those who look after you, parents and other relatives. The album has been touched by the magical fingers of Salamm Remi, (the producer) and also comprises of international artists like Barrington Levi, Keon Bryce and Kymani Marley. Dynamite does not which to be looked on as a superstar, rather its more about her lyrical content, which on a whole speaks for itself. 'A little deeper' is more than a little deeper, personally I don't think that things could be anymore deeper than this album. More than worth buying.

VARIOUS ARTISTS Back In The Day (Ayia Napa) REL: 01-07-02
This is one of the best 4 to da floor classic compilations to be released over the last few years. It includes some of the most popular garage tracks to be released. 'Sweeet like chocolate & Sweet female Attitude's - flowers are just two of the chart topping club anthems that blew up the early nineties. The double cd compilation also features the sounds of Craig David, Sneaker Pimps, Teebone, Indo and even Oxide and Neutrino's Casualty. Its a very sophisticated garage release and very suited to those who can't / don't forget what garage was like 'back in the day'.

VARIOUS ARTISTS Crews Control 'mc's inside the ride'
REL: 24-06-02
There has been eager anticipation 'on the streets' for the UK garage Crews to battle it out on the mic & on the decks, well this cd provides you with a clipet of what that might be like. Crews Control has brought together the garage crews of the streets & of the underground to formulate material that is going to supposidly blow up your speakers. If you are a Garage DJ, then unfortunetly this cd has no use to you whatsoever because you should know and have all the tracks in your bags. If however you are new to the garage scene, this cd might (and only might) interest you. The double cd includes: So Solid Crew, HLC (Heartless Crew), PAUG Cartel, Purple Haze Crew, More Fire Crew, Genius Cru, Lady Destiny, Groove Chronicles and even Elephant Man. This cd is good in the sense that it generates a forum for the unrecognised artists but on the other hand it is a disappointment because it is really plain and simple, and identifies the very thin line between commercial and underground garage.

Mis-Teeq, have gone from strength to strength this year. They've totally cracked the UK market and hopefully will be able to establish themselves as British stars in the international market ie US. This album contains their latest release, the Double A side 'Roll On/This is how we do it'. With a fresh array of tracks Mis-teeq are set to be the most recognised all female 'garage' group around.
