Artist: Daniel Bedingfield
Title: James Dean (I Wanna Know)
Label: Polydor
Mix: Todd Edwards Mixes / M&M
The Todd Edwards remix of Mr Bedingfield's second release has already been rinsed by EZ for months, having hit the tops of nearly all the garage charts "James Dean" is on every dj's shopping list.
Remixed in the way only Todd knows, the vocal floats over the chunky 4/4 beats and puzzled melody while the rolling bassline finely stiches everything together.
This double vinyl pack also includes nice M&M mixes while the commercial release is set to feature Izzie B and 2Man Gang Mixes. James Dean (I Wanna Know) is released 12/08/02.

Artist: MC DT & Just4Jokes feat MC RB
Title: Jump Up
Label: Longtime Records
Mix: Original / 2Digital (Take1) / 2Digital (Take 2)
Chart topping MC DT returns with Just4Jokes and MC RB in a tune set to be one of this summers party anthems. RB provides a smooth vocal featuring a few familiar lyrics from his past releases while DT adds life to the melody.
Due for full release on the 19th August with remixes from 2Digital as well as the Original (Produced by Butterfly & Urban Hype) we are left wondering if 'Jump Up' can match the success of 'Do you really like it'??

Title: What Have You Done
Label: Red Rose
Mix: Double Pack (Original, DBX Dub, Zoom & DBX, Osmosis, Del)
Hailed by EZ as "An all time classic rave tune" What Have You Done is on the re-release a decade after it originally took clubland by Storm.
This is a great record with a remix to suit everyone's needs. My favourite has got to be the original but all the others are superb (This double pack even includes a Progressive House mix by Del).
If you don't recognize the title you will definitely recognize the intro, unmistakable - What Have You Done can also be heard on the last installment of the Pure Garage series where EZ mixes it into Believe (DJ Faz).
Available now and a must for any Old Skool set, this is gonna get rinsed all summer!!!

Mix: M-Dubs Original / Insidaz Mix

This classic from back in the day comes with the massive Insidaz mix on the flip. With its instantly recognisable sound and simple lyrics it has ripped up pirate radio and dance floors for years.
The Insidaz mix has beats very similar to that of the EZ mix 'Feels So Good' by the B-15 Project feat Shola Ama and Ms Dynamite. With the original and Insidaz mix on one 12" you would be mad not to buy this!! Look out for the DND mixes coming soon!!

Originally released in the 80's B-15 have pulled this track into 2002. This is 1 of 3 sets of remixes set for release this year. This 12" features a great vocal mix a bassy dub and an instrumental to boot. While the vocal mix provides a summer time feel for the airwaves the dub is sure to get people body popping to this one again. A great remix, watch out for the follow ups!!

Artist: Shelly Nelson & K-Warren
Title: Find A Way
Label: PDC Promo
Mix: K-Warren Original / Syphon
We last experienced K-Warren and Shelly Nelson together on the 2000 club smash 'Something In Your Eyes'. Working with the same formula that continues to give 'Something In Your Eyes' regular airplay the duo have provided us with another classic sure to crossover to the mainstream.
With sounds and beats similar to that of the previous hit, K-Warrens A class production accompanies the instantly recognisable vocal of Shelly wonderfully. Sure to be a sing-a-long favourite and summer time anthem, 'Find A Way' is available now!!

Title: EZ When U Want 2
Label: DND Promo
Mix: DND Vocal / DND Dub
This is a great summer time vocal track, with catchy lyrics and great production this is sure to be a favourite at home and abroad. Although the DND vocal mix is good, personally I cant get enough of the flip side. Here you'll find a stomping 4/4 Todd Edwards style Dub mix. The fantastic distorted vocal and rolling basslines are already causing a stir on dance floors everywhere.
This is one of my favourite tracks this summer and has assured it's position at the front of my record box!!

Great bassline track from J-Sweet and Cameo of the london record store 'Uptown Records'.

Title: When You Look At Me
Label: Island
Mix: Agent X
Great follow up to the top 5 hit AM to PM. Agent X has taken this already great tune, placed that distinctive trademark drum beat behind the fantastic vocal and created their best remix to date.
The remix features MC Romeo but if thats not your thing there is a version without the So Soild star and an instrumental to boot. If you havent bought this, WHY???

Artist: Troublesome
Title: Bubblegum
Label: Red Rose
Mix: Original/Oracles
Everyone knows the distinctive Ragga sound of Troublesome, they had great success with their first release, which now years after its release still a favourite.
Bubblegum comes on a great picture disc, but unfortunately this is probably the best thing about it. Its not that this is a bad record, it's just that it isn't strong enough to match their previous success. Yes it has some great vocals and the melody is OK but it doesn't seem to go anywhere.
Not catchy enough to be a sing-along favourite but still a mediocre record. DJ DBT

Artist: Lorraine Cato
Title: Did It
Label: Social Circles
Mix: Original
"Did it" in simple terms is a vocal version of "Operatic" which was released last summer. Sticky has reworked the bass and beats to compliment the new vocal, which in my opinion has improved this tune to no end. This catchy dance floor filler could easily follow in the footsteps of 'Tales of the hood' into a full release.
Man of the moment Sticky does it again!!

Title: Believe Me
Label: White
Mix: Original
If you see this in a record shop, grab it and run, don't look back until you are safely behind your decks.
This record is on every DJ's wanted list and is guaranteed to send a crowd insane when dropped mid-set.
'Believe Me' is every neighbours nightmare and every DJ's dream. Once you get hold of this record you will want to play it so loud and so many times that your ears will bleed.
Certain to be one of this summers biggest bassline tracks 'Believe Me' should be in every DJ's record box. DJ DBT

Artist: Resevoir Dogs
Title: Earth
Label: Resevoir Dogs
Mix: Original
This is not a new tune, but seems to be popping up in most record shops once more. This 702 remix has definitely gained 'Classic' status and should never be removed from your record box.
The great opening rift is sure to get everyone rushing to the dance floor, but you can forget about hearing the rest of the tune, because as soon as the vocal cuts in, the sorrowful whine of Mariah Carey wannabe's will steal the sweet voices of 702 away from your ears.
A Superb Record!! DJ DBT

Artist: Wookie
Title: Far East
Label: Manchu
Mix: Original
As soon as you see the name Wookie, you know you are getting a top quality tune. Undoubtedly one of the best producers in the garage scene Wookie constantly produces amazing material.
Far East has the distinctive Wookie beats and basslines we have all grown to love with a slightly oriental feel to the record. Definitely one of the best tunes out there at the moment and almost certain to reach the top of any garage chart.
Also watch out for Wookies remix of Liberty X 'Wanting Me Tonight' DJ DBT

Artist: The Reelists
Title: Freak Mode
Label: Go Beat
Mix: Sunship Remix
In my opinion this is the best of the Freak Mode remixes, the unmistakable sound of Sunship has turned this R&B favourite into a dance floor filler.
With a throbbing bassline intro and a series of beass building breaks, Sunship has created an instant sing-a-long anthem. Remixed in a way only Sunship knows how, Freak Mode is undoubtedly an asset to any record collection. DJ DBT

Artist: Stush

Female MC Lady Stush lays down a great Jamaican influenced vocal over the Sticky's trademark sub-bass. This one sided 12" test press is in all the Top DJ's record boxes and is being played absolutely everywhere.
This High Energy, Heavy track is sure to get this Up & Coming MC noticed. DJ DBT

This has got to be the most popular tune of the moment, it seems as if Sticky can do no wrong and combined with the vocal talents of Tubby T, Tales of the hood is setting dance floors on fire.
